Updating nod32 manually auto updating copyright year

It would appear that Eset do have some IPs in the range that Internode use, blocked. Thankyou Bambos for supplying the link to Simon's post. Given you can traceroute to the server/ping it, and talk to it via means other than HTTP would seem to indicate filtering isn't occurring. Have same address, but my last update was 2 May (20070501).

Explains why some people had issues updating & others didn't. Checked the update and this is automatically trying different update addresses with no result.

The only failures to connect the server in my NOD32 log relate to the death of my NB5PLUS4 modem/router last week.

This application allows updating any ESET product offline.

I'll throw my hat in the ring too :) I too am having problems with NOD32 updating.

I wouldn't be posting here over a trivial issue that I could sort out myself.

I can successfully ping several of the Nod32 servers. Hopefully either Blackspear over @ Wilders Forums or one of the Internode representatives can offer the solution.

I think Eset is blocking IP addresses..may explain why the Eset paid software download (which you need your av username & password) is now working for me. It may also explain why some Internode customers Nod32 are updating fine & others are not. I've emailed Nod32 to see if they have issues with IP ranges or program versions that I have that might affect some Internode users (and anyone else affected).
